Update (9/27/20): 7 New Clinton County Residents Tested Positive For COVID-19 As Reported By The ISDH

Indianapolis, Ind – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Sunday, September 27, 2020, Clinton County had 7 new residents test positive for COVID-19, 609 residents in total have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 14 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 8,416 unique tests have been administrated to residents of Clinton County as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 0.6% as of September 20, 2020. The State of Indiana as a whole is 6.7%.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 921 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and private laboratories. That brings to 117,450 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

A total of 3,354 Hoosiers have died to date. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH and occurred over multiple days.

To date, 1,358,860 unique tests have been administrated on Hoosiers and reported to ISDH, up from 1,350,390 on Saturday.

There are 14 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 8,391 unique tests have been administrated to residents of Clinton County as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 0.6% as of September 19, 2020. The State of Indiana as a whole is 6.8%.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 1,155 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and private laboratories. That brings to 116,549 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

A total of 3,351 Hoosiers have died to date. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH and occurred over multiple days.

There are 14 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 8,347 unique tests have been administrated to residents of Clinton County as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 1.4% as of September 18, 2020. The State of Indiana as a whole is 6.5%.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 1,195 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and private laboratories. That brings to 115,407 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

Indianapolis, Ind – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Thursday, September 24, 2020, Clinton County had 1 additional death related to COVID-19 while no new residents tested positive, 595 residents have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 14 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 8,286 unique tests have been administrated to residents of Clinton County as reported by the ISDH.

The death is reported to have happened on Friday, September 11.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 1.7% as of September 17, 2020. The State of Indiana as a whole is 6.6%.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 920 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and private laboratories. That brings to 114,236 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

A total of 3,322 Hoosiers have died to date. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH and occurred over multiple days.

Indiana to Move to Stage 5 on Saturday, Sep 26

Indianapolis, Ind – Indiana is moving to Stage 5 of the Back on Track Plan on Saturday, Sep 26, per an announcement made by Governor Eric Holcomb from the Statehouse in Indianapolis Wednesday, Sep 23.

“That because of the progress that we’ve made over the last not one week, two weeks, three weeks, but going back now for a few months is that steady progression as a curve we’ll be able to move on to Stage 5 of our Back On Track Plan,” said Governor Holcomb. “I said last week … we were managing our way through this to mitigate, to slow that spread – I said the proof is in the puddin’ and the numbers continue to track in the right direction.”

So, what does Stage 5 mean?

First, Stage 5 is set for a period of time running from September 26 through October 17.

Face coverings will be required for all Hoosiers per executive order.

Must maintain social distancing, wash your hands, and do not go to work or school or in public places if you feel sick.

And, size limitations are removed for social gatherings and meetings. However, organizers of events that will include more than 500 people must submit a written plan to the local Health Department

For restaurants and bars that offer food service, they may open at full capacity – appropriate social distancing must be maintained between tables and bar section customers must be seated.

Meanwhile, bars and nightclubs may open at full capacity and customers must be seated and social distancing required.

Indoor and outdoor venues may open at full capacity following social distancing requirements.

Senior centers and congregant nutrition sites may reopen according to family and Social Services Administration guidance.

Personal services such as gyms, fitness centers, and work out facilities may resume normal operations with all of the required cleaning protocols in place

Nursing homes and assisted living facilities are required to provide visitation opportunities.

Communities are encouraged to monitor County’s standing in the color-coded metrics map and enact additional precautions if needed.

The Governor acknowledged some businesses will not be able to go back to pre-pandemic capacity as before due to the requirements still in place for physical and social distancing.

“Realistically, I understand,” said Governor Holcomb. “I get it. That because of what I just said not every establishment will be able to operate at what was their previous full capacity because of that physical distancing and social distancing that must occur.”

Governor Holcomb issued his first executive order related to the pandemic on March 6th and released the Back On Track Plan on May 1st, later modifying it to include Stage 4.5 on July 1st.

Indianapolis, Ind – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today, Wednesday, September 23, 2020, Clinton County had 1 additional resident die related to COVID-19 and 3 new residents test positive, 595 residents have tested positive for COVID-19. There are 13 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 8,255 unique tests have been administrated to residents of Clinton County as reported by the ISDH.

The death is reported to have happened on Friday, September 18.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate of unique individuals for Clinton County is 1.7% as of September 16, 2020. The State of Indiana as a whole is 6.6%.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 728 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and private laboratories. That brings to 113,337 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

A total of 3,305 Hoosiers have died to date. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH and occurred over multiple days.
