Update (8/9/20): 4 New Clinton County Residents Have Now Tested Positive For COVID-19 As Reported By The ISDH

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today Sunday, August 9, 2020, Clinton County has had 434 residents test positive for COVID-19. There are 3 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 5,639 residents of Clinton County have been tested as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate for Clinton County is 5.6% as of August 2, 2020. The State of Indiana as a whole is 7.5%.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 1,048 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and private laboratories. That brings to 74,328 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

A total of 2,835 Hoosiers have died to date. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH and occurred over multiple days.

To date, 841,125 tests have been reported to ISDH, up from 828,466 on Saturday.

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today Saturday, August 8, 2020, Clinton County has had 430 residents test positive for COVID-19. There are 3 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 5,518 residents of Clinton County have been tested as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate for Clinton County is 6.6% as of August 1, 2020. The State of Indiana as a whole is 7.5%.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 1,036 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and private laboratories. That brings to 73,287 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

A total of 2,834 Hoosiers have died to date. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH and occurred over multiple days.

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today Friday, August 7, 2020, Clinton County has had 409 residents test positive for COVID-19. There are 3 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 5,350 residents of Clinton County have been tested as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate for Clinton County is 7.1% as of July 31, 2020. The State of Indiana as a whole is 7.5%.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 1,253 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and private laboratories. That brings to 72,254 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today Thursday, August 6, 2020, Clinton County has had 404 residents test positive for COVID-19. There are 3 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 5,288 residents of Clinton County have been tested as reported by the ISDH.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate for Clinton County is 6.0% as of July 30, 2020. The State of Indiana as a whole is 7.4%.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 1,051 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and private laboratories. That brings to 71,015 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

A total of 2,811 Hoosiers have died to date. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH and occurred over multiple days.

Sheriff Kelly Ready For Deputies To Serve As School Resource Officers

As the 2020-2021 school year opens, the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office is ready to have deputies serve as School Resource Officers, SRO.

“We are going to work with both schools, Clinton Central and Clinton Prairie, to find the best way for our officers to be in those schools,” said Clinton County Sheriff Rich Kelly. “We will follow all PPE requirements from gloves, masks, and sanitizer and it is something important for us to continue to do.”

Sheriff Kelly stated the officers are planning to be there.

“So our officers are planning on it and we’re going to move forward with the school year and we will be there.”

The other county schools, Community Schools of Frankfort and Rossville, utilize other personnel for SRO. CSF has a City of Frankfort police officer in each of its buildings while Rossville has its own school district police department.

Update (8/5/20): 28 New Clinton County Residents Have Now Tested Positive For COVID-19 As Reported By The ISDH

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today Wednesday, August 5, 2020, Clinton County has had 388 residents test positive for COVID-19. There are 3 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 5,199 residents of Clinton County have been tested as reported by the ISDH.

The 28 new positive test results is the single, one-day high for Clinton County. The previous single-day high was 21 on May 20, 2020.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate for Clinton County is 6.1% as of July 29, 2020. The State of Indiana as a whole is 7.4%.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 740 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and private laboratories. That brings to 69,975 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

A total of 2,805 Hoosiers have died to date. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH and occurred over multiple days.

To date, 792,225 tests have been reported to ISDH, up from 785,018 on Tuesday.

The rolling 7-day positivity rate for Clinton County is 5.5% as of July 28, 2020. The State of Indiana as a whole is 7.3%.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 836 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and private laboratories. That brings to 69,255 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

Community Schools of Frankfort High School Staff Member Tests Positive For COVID-19

The Community Schools of Frankfort issued the following press release this morning, Tuesday, August 4, 2020.

“Community Schools of Frankfort teachers returned to work on Friday, July 31, the first of four teacher work days to prepare for the upcoming school year. On Friday afternoon, we were made aware that a high school staff member had tested positive for COVID-19. The employee was not at work on Friday. Everyone who was in close contact with the infected staff member was notified and informed what they need to do. The first student day is Thursday, August 6. All schools are receiving a deep clean prior to the start of the school year.”

Update (7/15/20): 4 Additional Clinton County Residents Have Tested Positive For COVID-19 As Reported By The ISDH, 295 Have Now Tested Positive

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced today Wednesday, July 15, 2020, Clinton County has had 295 residents test positive for COVID-19. There are 3 deaths related to COVID-19 in Clinton County. At least 4,081 residents of Clinton County have been tested as reported by the ISDH.

Additionally, the ISDH announced that 700 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at ISDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and private laboratories. That brings to 53,370 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s total.

A total of 2,592 Hoosiers have died to date. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by ISDH and occurred over multiple days.
